Travel
Covers our time travelled and reimburses our therapists’ use of petrol and wear and tear on their own vehicle. Total cost of each session will depend on the number of clients seen in the same area- and travel costs will be split between the number of clients seen in that location. | $16.17 per 5 minutes of travel. +$0.99c per km travelled to and from the location. |

Financial Support
Medicare Rebate- Chronic Disease Management Plan/Enhanced Care Plan
You can book an appointment with your GP to request a Medicare Plan prior to any sessions you are claiming. If you meet the criteria for a Medicare plan, your GP can write a plan for you. The plan allows you to receive a rebate of $60.35 for up to 5 sessions in a calendar year (January-December).
Private Health Funds
Speech Pathology can be covered by your private health fund if you have opted for this under extras. Please check with your own health fund that it covers speech pathology (as an outpatient).
